Post 21: Exploring Something New to Me

This semester I was introduced to a new genre of music. The new genre is Korean Pop or K-Pop for short. It's interesting since it is foreign music and, I love foreign music as it adds more spice to my playlist after being so stale of just English music and Spanish music. The music is approachable as it is easy to transition into. K-pop music videos have very elaborate choreography and luckily for me, I have discovered a K-Pop dance team this semester and got very interested that I'm practicing for next fall to tryout and hopefully will make it! Moral of the story break out of that shell and explore new things as they could liven you up.

    I though that k-pop was for weirdos but I listened some bands and they're pretty good and they have amazing videos full of colors and choreography, is good to be exposed to new things, as I said, I though it was for weirdos but I found it really good and I also have some k-pop music in my phone.

    I need to listen to k-pop more, I typically just listen to latin, english, or swedish music. What groups do you recommend?

    i personally dont like K-POP, a friend of mine always listens to it when we drive somewhere and i just honestly don't get the appeal. why would someone listen to music in a language they cant understand?

    Wow you and another peer of mine that i actually just commented on her blog has the same interest lol. I completely agree with Ben though i totally cannot stand K-pop. My younger sisters annoy the crap out of me speaking a whole different language rapping and I’m just like huh? But it’s good to learn new stuff! Seems quite interesting.

Post 10: Exercise

Exercise has been my passion and a healthy hobby that I have invested in for the past two years. I started the summer before my junior year started in high school. I had relatives come visit me and then talked me into trying some of the workouts they did and showing me how to properly do them for maximum results. I loss ten percent body fat the results I had were incredible. I kept working out and joined a weight lifting class to help me become stronger. For Christmas my parents got me a gym membership and from their on I learned more types of workouts from personal trainers and power lifters. As of today I still keep working out even with my busy schedule I try to find an open time to devote to the gym so I don't lose all the progress I have made over the past two years. I plan to keep exercising until my body can no longer function properly and to keep spreading fitness knowledge to others who plan on trying to workout.

Post 22: Peer Review

Peer review is has multiple aspects that are good and bad. You may have some classmates that can point out simple mistakes in your writing that you blindly skip over. This tends to happen a lot to me but thank goodness I messed up in front of my peers instead of my professor as points won't be deducted from my paper. On the bad side of things our peers don't have credentials backing them up like our professors do with their degrees so, sometimes people just ignore what peer review you tell them and don't bother fixing their own mistakes.
